Yes the seats have the front pockets!Florida title in my nameFrom what I understand the car was imported by a person in Florida who had lived in the UK and brought it back with them. I am the third owner since it was imported to Florida. The owner I bought it from had intentions on restoring the car and never got around to it.The car is not a reVINed/rebodied car. This is an original 1984 car with its original VIN. I can have a well respected Mini vendor/restorer verify this if needed or any potential buyer is welcome to inspect the car themselves or have a third party inspect it.The car is a bit unique, there were 4000 Mini 25 produced; out of the 4000 there were 10 fitted with the retractable fabric roof from the factory this is one of the 10. I have verified the story that there were only 10 made with this roof with Mini World magazine however I have not verified that this is one of the cars for sure. Through my research and dismantle of the roof for restoration it is my belief it is one of the 10.Every bit of rust was cut out of the car and replaced with sheetmetal. Some of the major panels that were replaced with new sheetmetal include; Both front wings/fenders, RH a-panel & inner door support panel,front windscreen lower valance, rear valance, boot/trunk floor repair panel and lower sills. The paint is fresh and a color match to the original Mini 25 silver but was done in base coat clear coat.The engine has had a tune-up; plugs, points, rotor arm, cap, oil/filter and air filter. The carb was retrofitted with the more reliable non-capstat jet and a freeflow exhaust header was installed. The braking system was overhauled, new pads/shoes, rebuilt calipers, new rear wheel cylinders.Engine runs great you can easily get 40+ mpg.Some other new parts include;RadiatorWheel archesWipers & wiper armsFront and rear windscreen sealsRear quarter window sealsBadgesI´m probably forgetting some but thats the major stuffIt could be easly taken back to the original look of the Mini 25. All that would be needed are the nimbus parts, the steel wheels with the covers and the decal set which easily sourced. The only reason I did not do this was because of personal taste.A couple negatives on the car the vinyl top has two small cracks near the back on the edge. I have a repair kit for it that will go with the car. There are few squeaks and rattles all normal with a mini.The car is located in Titusville FL, it can be inspected there pretty much anytime.
